Our brand of leather handbags, jewelry, and home decor provide living wage work for women in crisis.
Since 2017 Designed For Joy has created a safe space for women in our programs to build confidence and refresh their resume, enabling them to enter the job market better prepared. To date we've hired over 180 women and they have earned over $700,000 in competitve wages. Designed For Joy provides women in crisis with stability through immediate employment and support, removing the stigma of vulnerability. The women who create our brand with us are emerging from homelessness, time in prison, trafficking, substance abuse, and other vulnerable situations.

- Eat breakfast or lunch at A Place at the Table. Raleigh's first pay-what-you-can cafe.
- Grab a cup of coffee at Heirloom. Be sure to check out their pink espresso machine.
- Handcrafted beer and cocktails at Wye Hill Brewing. Be sure to make a dinner reservation at sunset for the best view of the Raleigh skyline.
- Tour the Videri Chocolate Factory. You can taste test any of their chocolate.
