Our acorn shaped bell is cast in brass is adorned with a genuine leather leaf and has become a bestseller at Designed For Joy! We were proud to have it featured in OUR STATE magazine and other local publications. What's it's story?? Our hometown of Raleigh, NC is called the “City of Oaks” because of the majestic ancient oak trees throughout our city. So it was natural we would create our signature ornament with it.
The ornament is assembled in our studio and features the brass bell tied with a suede hanger threaded through the leather oak shaped leaf. It comes in 2 styles. The leaf can represent Raleigh with the Raleigh, NC stamped on it. Or, you can choose a plain, unstamped leaf.
Use a paint pen and create children's names or dates on the plain leaf to use as gifts for friends or relatives that have moved away. Great gift for local friends as well as those missing their Raleigh hometown.
