Shopping doesn’t have to be just for you - it can have a much larger impact. What if those earrings you bought yesterday earned someone a living wage today?

At Designed for Joy, it’s what we do every day. We locate women leaving vulnerable situations who are ready to put in the work to build a new life. And then we help them achieve their dreams.
We do that by providing:
- Living wage work hours
- On the job skills training
- Life coaching and support
- Emotional and spiritual support
Participants become trained artisans who create the amazing products sold in the Designed for Joy online and brick and mortar stores. The proceeds from the sales go right back into the organization, in turn helping more women achieve their dreams.
Women have left the Designed For Joy program to go on to full-time, safe, and dignified work. They have moved into permanent housing, purchased cars, and regained a sense of self-worth. We’ve helped them keep their families together and helped changed the trajectory of their lives.
But earring sales alone doesn’t pay the bills for a mission as big as this one.
Our mission is a big one, and our ability to help more women rebuild their lives depends on people like you joining our team. You can help in so many ways.
