April 8 - Craftivist Collective Makers Meeting

April 8 - Craftivist Collective Makers Meeting

Are you a Maker who cares about social justice? Whether you sew, paint, photograph, design, craft with needles, screen print, work with metal or leather, or create in any other way, you’re the perfect fit for our newly launching Craftivist Collective!

This group of passionate creatives will use their talents to advance Designed For Joy’s mission.

  • Craftivism is the combination of craft and activism:  Using handmade art to spread awareness, advocate for change, and quietly protest injustice.
  • Why it’s powerful: Unlike loud protests, Craftivism reaches people in an intimate, thoughtful way, creating space for deeper reflection.
  • Our approach: We will use our God-given talents to craft with purpose, turning our skills into a tool for advocacy and healing. All art forms are welcome!

Interested? Join us every 2nd Tuesday of the month, from 6 to 8 PM, in our studio, to learn more and get involved!
