There are so many ways you can contribute to Designed For Joy. You may wish to volunteer in person or volunteer from home. Whether you'd like to share your time, expertise, or purchase needed supplies, browse the many ways to help throughout our studio and beyond below.

New Volunteer Step by Step Guide
1) Complete the volunteer form
Please complete the volunteer form below after reading the Volunteer Liability Waiver and Volunteer Guidelines. (Your information will stay safe in our files). By submitting this form, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms outlined in the Volunteer Liability Waiver and Volunteer Guidelines. Thank you!

2) Pick your volunteer activity
Browse all our volunteer opportunities. Click the pink button under the opportunity you are interested in. You'll be directed to the specific sign up sheet or donation opportunity.
3) Read your email confirmation
You'll receive a confirmation email from our volunteer coordinator when you have successfully signed up to volunteer. Now your registration is complete. You're ready to volunteer on your selected date! If you have questions or need to follow up, email Nanette Peddicord at volunteer@designedforjoy.com.
4) Head to the studio on your day
2 hour street parking is available for free, or easy parking in our front lot at 517 W. Cabarrus St. Ste. A, Raleigh, NC 27603. Volunteer hours are typically 10-2 PM. Have lunch with us!
Accessibility Notice: Our retail shop and studio require navigating two sets of five stairs, and unfortunately, we do not have wheelchair access. Handrails are available alongside the steps. If you have any accessibility concerns, please reach out—we’d love to assist in any way we can.
